Resin Arms:

People have been asking for these for years .



Originally , I had hoped to get these done in flexible resin , or PVC, but the cost was really silly .

But I can now offer them in plain resin.
These are direct casts of sets of arms I made in Fimo for my own figures .
Here's the originals on the right , and the rather ghostly casts :~



By mixing and matching amongst the set , there are 25 poses possible .
You can saw them into sections and re-pose them as you wish ,
if you are prepared to do a little sculpting to cover the joins.
Being resin , they are easy to remodel with epoxy putty.

Be warned : they are NOT flexible, though reasonably tough.
If you overstress the fingers by forcing a weapon between them they will break.
So they will require real care when using , and perhaps a little carving to fit particular weapons.
They can also be slightly bent by soaking in boiling water , then bending , then cooling .
If they do break , they are easy to mend with cyano glue.

And of course they will need painting .

There are only a limited number of these arms available at present.

Only sold as the pairs shown , or the whole set.


A1 : Rifle arms



B2 : Rifle/SMG




C3 : Slung weapon



D4 : Grounded weapon



E5 : Relaxed arms .



I recommend fitting them to the figure by :~
1) saw through the bicep.
2) fill the hole with epoxy .
3) once hard , file that flat , then drill .
4)drill the arm to the same diameter, and fit a pin.
I use 3/32” brass rod.



So now the arm can be rotated or changed at will.
